Don’t go any further. That is, if you don’t want a pretty good spoiler from The Walking Dead season 3 revealed. The Walking Dead Forums ran a series of spy photos from the set and it appears a familiar face is making a return next season…and where this character is spotted backs up a bit of speculation we ran a few months back. As you can see…Michael Rooker is on set and about to reprise his role as Merle Dixon. Rooker was spotted hanging around the “Woodbury” set. For those familiar with the comic book, you know this haven of survivors is run by The Governor (David Morrissey).
A bit ago, we theorized that perhaps we’d see Merle Dixon pop up in Woodbury…of course, minus a hand. Poke around The Walking Dead forums some more, you’ll find images of Michonne (Danai Gurira) and Andrea (Lauria Holden) on the Woodbury set, too.
