Netflix has revealed when The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3 is coming to the platform. Notably, Daryl Dixon is a spin-off of The Walking Dead TV show, which aired on AMC from 2010 to 2022. Like the mothership series, Daryl Dixon airs on AMC, and it revolves around the journey of the eponymous character.
The series originally premiered on September 10, 2023, and returned with the sophomore season on September 29, 2024. The Third season, comprising seven episodes, originally aired on AMC from September 7, 2025, to October 19, 2025.
The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3 heads to Netflix this summer
According to What’s on Netflix, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3 releases on Netflix for US viewers on July 19. German drama 23 000 Lives, Heartstopper Forever, The Map of Longing, and The East Palace will also become available on the streaming giant that day.
David Zabel created The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon for AMC. Its cast includes Norman Reedus as Daryl Dixon, Melissa McBride as Carol Peletier, Eduardo Noriega as Antonio, Óscar Jaenada as Federico “Fede” de Rivera, Alexandra Masangkay as Paz, Candela Saitta as Justina de Rivera, and Stephen Merchant as Julian Chamberlain. The zombie apocalypse series has enjoyed mostly positive responses from critics throughout its run. In fact, the third season garnered an 80% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, making it the highest-rated season of the show.
Trent Moore of Paste Magazine praised the season and Reedus’ performance. “This remains the role that Reedus was born to play, and, 15 years in, he seems to know it,” Moore wrote. “The series’s third season fully continues his evolution into the type of quiet, brooding action star who wouldn’t be out of place in a John Wick movie (seriously, in some of these well-choreographed Season 3 fight scenes, you’ll see the uncanny resemblance),” he added.
Additionally, What’s on Netflix mentions that it’s unclear when Season 3 will become available for Netflix’s international subscribers. In July 2025, AMC renewed The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon for a fourth and final season, which is yet to debut on the network.
