The Hollywood Reporter is saying this evening that Jason Blum, Oren Peli and Christopher Landon – the team behind Paranormal Activity – are joining forces again for a “Latino-themed” horror film.
The project is being described as a “cousin” to the Paranormal Activity series, however, it’s not a sequel or a spin-off. A companion piece, perhaps…
Landon will write and direct the film which is currently untitled.
All we know right now is that it will feature a Latino cast and the story will be rooted in a Catholic-based supernatural craziness.
The goal is to go into production this year for a possible January 2013 release.
