The film begins production next week under the direction of Eduardo Sanchez, the co-creator of The Blair Witch Project and the director of the upcoming Lovely Molly.
Here, Sanchez is once again diving into the “found footage” sub-genre. The first time he has done so since Blair Witch. Better still, he’s applying it to a Bigfoot story.
Variety says Sanchez is collaborating with Jamie Nash, the writer of Lovely Molly.
Together they’ll tell the tale of a group of friends who set out into the Texas woods and are stalked by Bigfoot.
Haxan Films and Amber Entertainment are producing.
