Mining magazine for future films, shows THR reports Jason Blum and Picture Shack Entertainment optioned the rights for the mag. They intend to use Fate‘s catalog as inspiration for potential television and film projects. Founded in 1948 by Amazing Stories‘ Raymond A. Palmer, Fate was a collection of real-life stories of the supernatural and extraterrestrial account, as well as essays on new medicine, cryptozoology and other weirdness.
