Reunited with his Dark City director
Rufus Sewell is the latest actor to board Legendary Pictures’ Paradise Lost.
He is locked to play the role of “Sammael.” Sewell starred in The Illusionist and The Tourist.
Alex Proyas, who directed Sewell in Dark City, will helm the film starring Bradley Cooper and Benjamin Walker, an adaptation of the epic 17th-century English poem by John Milton.
Legendary’s Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni will produce along with Vincent Newman via his Vincent Newman Entertainment banner.
Paradise Lost tells the story of the epic war in heaven between archangel’s Michael (Walker) and Lucifer (Cooper).
