Comic-Con 2011: Jackson Returning to Horror, Spielberg on Jurassic Park 4

Updates from the Tin Tin panel

Interesting comments are coming out of the San Diego Comic-Con for The Adventures of Tin Tin panel. Both Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg are on stage in Hall H fielding questions at the time of this writing.

Asked if he would return to horror, Pete Jackson replied: “I do have a couple of things that I’m playing around with at the moment. Definitely, in the future, yeah.”

Of course, “in the future” likely means waaaay after The Hobbit.

Spielberg, meanwhile, provided an exciting update about Jurassic Park 4: “We have a story, I can happily announce right now,” said Spielberg. “We have a writer… Hopefully, we’ll be making Jurassic Park 4 in the near future. In the next two or three years.”

It was reported earlier that Mark Protosevich was have script discussions with Spielberg about what direction to take the JP universe in.
