Orphanage, Julia’s Eyes team puts together new thriller
To demonstrated that the world of Spanish horror continues to be one big happy family, Oriol Paulo, the co-writer of Julia’s Eyes, is being given a chance to make his feature directorial debut with The Body.
Jaime Pena stars in the thriller about the disappearance of a woman’s body from the morgue.
The director describes the film as being in the vein of Hitchcock; he also cites The Birds and Misery as influences. Intriguing, as those two films are wildly divergent.
Shooting is expected to begin in January for Rodar y Rodar, the outfit behind the aforementioned Eyes and The Orphanage.
