Who will release The Wicker Tree?
Anchor Bay Entertainment acquired Robin Hardy’s The Wicker Tree for U.S. distribution.
According to Fangoria, the company is looking at a fall release.
It’s apropos that the mighty Anchor picked up this title as it released those fine special editions of Hardy’s The Wicker Man many years ago (remember the discs that came in the wooden box?).
Shock was actually on the set of The Wicker Tree where Hardy explained to us why he considers this a “companion” piece to his brave, chilling Wicker Man.
