The supernatural-actioner with Ryan Reynolds
Deadline has learned Jeff Bridges is in talks to star in the action-supernatural-comedy R.I.P.D..
Bridges will fill the role Zach Galifianakis departed over scheduling concerns. If the actor does commit to the film, he’ll co-star with Ryan Reynolds.
Universal is producing R.I.P.D. which will be directed by Robert Schwentke. Based on the Dark Horse comic book of the same name which focuses on the “Rest In Peace Department” where a murdered cop comes back from the dead to find his killer.
Still sounds a bit like Dead Heat to us.
