The dead will rise in Virginia
It has been so long since we’ve reported on the supposed remake of Plan 9 from Outer Space, that I nearly forgot that it was threatening to assault to our peepers.
The project was first announced back in 2008, a “teaser” struck in 2009 along with the news that the producers at Darkstone Entertainment were aiming for an April 2010 release.
Since then, the official site has been updated regularly with a faux Criswell posting YouTube videos.
Now, here we are in 2011 and it’s getting ready to shoot in Bedford County, Virginia beginning tomorrow.
From what I’ve gathered at the site, writer-director John Johnson is aboard with a cast of newcomers.
