Gordon-Levitt Drops Out of ‘Django Unchained,’ ‘Shining’ Tribute Poster and ‘Plan 9 From Outer Space’ in Full

Joseph Gordon-Levitt was set to play one of a trio of Australian bandits in QuentinTarantino‘s Django Unchained, but he now tells MTV he had to drop out of the role due to a scheduling conflict with his directorial debut, Don Jon’s Addiction. He tells the site, “No, I’m not going to get to do that. I’d love to, but it just doesn’t work. I’ve been in touch with Quentin about it, and it was so cool to trust me to do this little part in his movie. I would have loved, loved to have done it. He’s one of my very favorite filmmakers, and he was really supportive of me directing, and that meant the world to me.” [source]

The full cast for Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s The Tomb has been revealed with Vincent D’Onofrio, Vinnie Jones, Amy Ryan and 50 Cent joining Sly, Arnold and the previously cast James Caviezel. The film is being directed by Mikael Hafstrom and follows Ray Breslin (Stallone) who is the world’s foremost authority on structural security. He’s analyzed every high security prison and has gained a vast array of survival skills. The Genre Company and Inferno’s Ember Productions are remaking TriStar’s 1984 film Silent Night, Deadly Night with the title Silent Night and Malcolm McDowell set to star for director Steven C.
