Beetlejuice-flavored comedy
Russell Brand (Get Him to the Greek, Mr. Katy Perry) may have found himself a supernatural vehicle to star in called RentaGhost.
Warner Bros. is the studio behind it, having snatched up the rights to the late-’70s/early-’80s British TV show.
Brand will play a guy who vows to be more productive in his afterlife than he was as a mortal man. So, he sets up a temp agency for ghosts. The studio is thinking Beetlejuice, so expect laughs from this one.
