Tank assault…Brad Pitt rumor?
This footage looks like J.J. Abrams is shooting Cloverfield 2, but we’ve been assured in the past that his latest directorial effort, Super 8, isn’t that at all. Still, big thanks to Shock reader Patrick for the set video below which finds a convoy of tanks rolling down a suburban street blasting away at…something. There’s a big explosion, too. Note that these guys are targeting something above them. Is the creature featured in Super 8 larger than we expect?
Here’s some extra info from Patrick which you might find interesting: “Also, it’s be rumored (emphasis on rumored) that Brad Pitt has been staying in the area. The area is very small, so chances are that IF he is in fact here, he’s attached to this project. But, that is all hearsay.”
Hmm, mucho interesting, however, insiders tell us there is no connection between Pitt and the film.
Abrams is shooting Super 8 in West Virginia, stay tuned for more details as they come in.
