From writer of upcoming Dune film
Warner Bros. has bought an original project from Josh Zetumer for Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer to executive produce. Zetumer’s managers, Guymon Casady and Darin Friedman of Management 360, helped develop the idea and will produce.
Heat Vision says “details for the story are being kept under wraps. The untitled project is star-driven and has a genre component to it, although it is not sci-fi.”
Zetumer wrote the spy drama Infiltrator, which is set up at Warners with Leonardo DiCaprio attached to star. The script led to him writing Dune.
