Director, screenwriter confirmed
Following up on this news item from earlier today, Shock has confirmed that John Stockwell (Blue Crush, Turistas) is in fact directing.
Filming began last week in Cape Town, South Africa.
Halle Berry stars as as Kate Mathieson, a shark specialist who can connect with the dangerous creatures. The film was written by Amy Sorlie, a journalist and accomplished shark diver in her own right.
The thriller is expected to hit the screen in 2011. We’ll have more cast details for you soon.
