Returning cast and some new faces
Any ’80s throwback worth its salt needs to leave the door open to a sequel. And Jacob Gentry’s My Super Psycho Sweet 16 did just that.
Whether you caught the film on MTV or not is moot, because Gentry and writers Jed Elinoff and Scott Alan Thomas have begun production on My Super Psycho Sweet 16: Part 2. Lauren McKnight reprises her role as Skye and is also joined by Chris Zylka, Matt Angel, Myndy Crist, Alex Van and Gina Rodriguez.
Shooting is taking place in Atlanta and continues the story of psychopath Charlie Rotter who, in the first film, turned a sweet 16 bash at a Rollerdome into a bloodbath. For clips and trailers follow this link.
