Universal Enrolls in Monster High

Chaney, Karloff roll in their graves

Smallville‘s Alfred Gough and Miles Millar are penning an adaptation of Mattel’s Monster High property which follows the kids of Dracula, the Creature, Frankenstein’s monster and the Wolf Man as they go through high school. The toys and toons feature big hair, high heels and pouty brats.

The film project is being worked into a musical, it seems, that’s described as Beetlejuice meets The Addams Family. All of this is happening at Universal, the home of the classic monsters.

Let’s not forget Gough and Millar penned the last installment of the studio’s Mummy franchise.
