The duo that gave us Crank
Looks like parting from Jonah Hex long ago hasn’t squelched their desire to take on another comic book property.
THR reports that Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor are in talks to direct Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. David Goyer (The Dark Knight, Blade) cooked up the story for the next chapter and Nic Cage is in negotiations to reprise his role as Johnny Blaze.
Shooting can begin as early as this fall.
Neveldine and Taylor are best known for their hyper-kinetic, aggressive Crank films, as well as last year’s Gamer. If the deals are sealed, I can’t wait to see what they bring to this project.
