Update: Evil Dead Blu Art, Hatchet Date

New special features for both titles

Anchor Bay has officially announced the Blu-Ray release of Adam Green’s Hatchet.

You can look for it on shelves September 7. Previous special features will be imported; Adam Green and Kane Hodder also recorded a new commentary exclusive for the disc.

Meanwhile, Anchor Bay is also preparing for the August 31 Blu-Ray release of The Evil Dead.

The disc sports a new transfer supervised by director Sam Raimi, features a brand new commentary with Raimi, producer Rob Tapert and Bruce Campbell and will come with assorted behind-the-scenes footage, outtakes, galleries and more.
