Is he revisiting vampires?
Highly doubtful, but both the Romanian Times and the Austrian Independent are stating that Quentin Tarantino is scouting various castles in Austria for an upcoming Dracula film.
Neither outlet is pinpointing a source to this news, they’re simply saying, “it’s being reported.” Thanks to The Quentin Tarantino Archives for the heads-up and rightly putting things in perspective. Tarantino could simply be sight-seeing during his travels abroad. Hell, he could be scouting for another project. Dracula, however? I’ll believe it when I see it.
I’m actually a bit baffled about the increasing news about various Dracula productions. Earlier this month, Argento was attached to a new film and, today, Famous Monsters of Filmland revealed their intentions to reboot the classic dapper monster.
