Anthology series attracts genre vets
Director Tom Holland (Fright Night, Child’s Play) is hard at work on a new series called Twisted Tales, in the vein of The Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits.
The short films have attracted the likes of stars William Forsythe, Danielle Harris, AJ Bowen, Bonnie Piesse and Shaun Benson, who recently wrapped the latest “Twisted” entry entitled “Vampire’s Dance.” Holland directed a music video, a companion piece to the short film which features singer Lisa McClowry.
So, where can you find these films? Twisted Tales is being designed for mobile devices. They’ll be ten minutes or less in length so you won’t look like an ass turning off the world around you as you get sucked into Holland’s latest efforts.
Holland says in a press release, “Twisted Tales is a great opportunity to explore the world of quality short film storytelling on a whole new platform of technology. Weâre at the start of a new wave of distribution and it’s a very exciting time for myself and for all those involved.”
