Pedro Almodovar and Antonio Banderas are reuniting for the Spanish revenge film La piel que habito.
Banderas would star in this described “horror story without screams or shocks” (although I can’t image there is any avoiding the former) about a surgeon who takes revenge on the man who raped his daughter. Almodovar is “loosely” adapting Thierry Jonquet’s “Mygale” and has been at work on the script for years.
Almodovar and Banderas worked together on Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down!.
