Pics, More Details on Creature Feature Sucker

A loser suffers alien experimentation

Big Screen Entertainment Group is well into principle photography on Sucker, a creature feature the company is labeling as a sci-fi comic-book-esque film, directed and co-written by BSEG’s Michael Manasseri and produced by BSEG’s Kimberley Kates and Stephen Eckelberry as well as Big Screen Michigan’s new team of filmmakers.

The majority of filming is taking place in Pontiac, Michigan, with select scenes being shot in Troy and on the campus of Oakland University; 95% of the cast and crew are locals from Michigan.

In the film, lovable loser Jim Crawley is having a pretty bad day. He gets fired from his job at the Nuclear Power Plant he’s worked at for 11 years, his car gets impounded, and he discovers his wife is having an affair with his ex co-worker. To make matters worse, Jim gets abducted by an evil scientist who is conducting tests of a controversial vaccine against a deadly virus that is spreading across the planet.

We’ve reached out to Big Screen Entertainment Group for more details, however, they have not responded to our requests. Hope they’re not too sore about that “manquito” analogy we dropped in our last news item about Sucker.

Oh well.

Here’s some pics from Mondo Film who visited the set!
