The writer of Alien, Return Of The Living Dead, Dead & Buried
We’re saddened today to learn of the passing of Dan O’Bannon.
No stranger to sci-fi or horror fans, he’d penned the screenplays for the original Alien, John Carpenter’s debut feature Dark Star, Gary Sherman’s Dead & Buried, Tobe Hooper’s Lifeforce and Invaders From Mars and one of our personal favorite zombie movies Return Of The Living Dead, which he also directed.
