Pride and Prejudice and Zombies the TV Series?

Early details have begun to leak out

Seth Grahame-Smith’s “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies,” a reworking of Jane Austen’s novel, offered fans of the undead a blend of sophistication and something grotesque.

Shortly after it was published, rumors swirled over the screen adaptation. Where it would land, who was starring, etc…

At the Twitter account PrideandZombies, it was announced earlier today that “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies” was being turned into a six-part television mini-series.

If true, that’s an ideal format for Grahame-Smith and Austen’s horror-drama mash-up!

The Twitter account says Deadline Productions is at work on this endeavor. A quick search of the company yielded a website for a production facility out of Houston, Texas.

We did a bit of digging and found there is a UK Deadline Productions who produced Phoo Action for BBC Scotland in 2008.

Also, if you look at the background of the Twitter account, you’ll see a teaser image (pictured) that features England’s Channel 4 logo. We’re going to keep a close eye on this Twitter account from here on out!
