Pride and Prejudice Teaser Trailer: Emma Corrin & Jack Lowden Star in Netflix TV Show

Netflix has finally shared the teaser trailer for Pride and Prejudice, its upcoming series adaptation of Jane Austen’s beloved romance novel. The 6-episode adaptation will be led by The Crown star Emma Corrin as Elizabeth Bennet and Slow Horses star Jack Lowden as Mr. Darcy.

Described as a faithful and classic adaptation, the miniseries is written by Dolly Alderton and directed by Euros Lyn. Executive producers are Laura Lankester, Will Johnston, and Louise Mutter for Lookout Point, as well as Alderton and Lyn. In addition to leading the cast, Corrin is also serving as an executive producer, with Lisa Osborne set as a producer. The series is expected to debut in Autumn 2026.

What happens in the Pride and Prejudice teaser trailer?

The video features the first look at Corrin’s Elizabeth and Lowden’s Mr. Darcy, while offering a glimpse at some of the characters’ fan-favorite moments together. This includes a brief preview of the pair’s iconic dance at the ball. The new TV adaptation will also star Olivia Colman as Mrs. Bennet, Rufus Sewell as Mr. Bennet, Freya Mavor as Jane Bennet, Jamie Demetriou as Mr. Collins, Daryl McCormack as Mr. Bingley, Louis Partridge as Mr. Wickham, Rhea Norwood as Lydia Bennet, Siena Kelly as Caroline Bingley, Fiona Shaw as Lady Catherine de Bourg, Hopey Parish as Mary Bennet, and Hollie Avery as Kitty Bennet.

The story follows the story of Elizabeth Bennet, an intelligent but stubborn young woman who finds herself falling in love with the wealthy and arrogant Mr. Darcy, despite having a negative first impression of him. Out of all the novel’s previous adaptations, the 2005 movie starring Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen has become the most popular one to date, with Knightley also earning an Oscar nomination for Best Actress.
