Walking Distance Changes Title To Experimental Activity

Capitalizing on Paranormal stars involvement

This news is genuinely surprising to us. According to The Hollywood Reporter, filmmaker Mel House’s indie horror flick Walking Distance has undergone a title change just on the cusp of this week’s AFM. It’ll now be called Experimental Activity, no doubt to capitalize on the involvement of actress Katie Featherston, one of the two leads of Paranormal Activity.

According to the post, Showcase Entertainment has acquired the international rights to Experimental Activity. “Clearly having the fastest-rising star in the business is a feather in the cap, but we feel the film stands on its own as a cool psychological thriller,” Showcase president David Jackson said.

This film also marks the return of actress Adrienne King in front of the camera, making this her first appearance on film since Friday The 13th Part 2. The cast also includes Phantasm‘s Reggie Bannister, genre vet Debbie Rochon, former Fango “Spooksmodel” Shannon Lark, Texas based actors Denton Blane Everett, Glenn Morshower and Kathy Lamkin.

We’ll have more on Experimental Activity from AFM later this week.
