Lots of speculation out there
Ivan Reitman tells MTV that he hasn’t turned his back entirely on returning to the director’s chair for Ghostbusters 3.
His involvement, talk of a female Ghostbuster, other new recruits, casting news and directing updates all seem to be pure speculation at this point. A script by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky is going to be turned in “a month or so.”
Iâve never ruled [directing it] out,” Reitman says. “I certainly was responsible in every capacity for the first two movies so I certainly wouldnât wander away from the third oneâespecially if itâs something we all think is worth doing.”
