Plane Snatched Out of Mid-Air in Non-Stop

Patrick Tatopoulos’ next directing gig

THR confirms Sunday’s report that DreamWorks is getting into bed with writer Michael Gilvary and Patrick Tatopoulos (Underworld: Rise of the Lycans) for the thriller Non-Stop.

They’ve added that Len Wiseman (Underworld, Live Free or Die Hard) is producing and the story concerns the passengers of an airline which has been abducted by an alien ship. There have been reports comparing the film to Cloverfield, but we’ve been told that the similarities are simply in tone and “real people being thrust into an extraordinary situation.”

DreamWorks execs Mark Sourian and Jonathan Eirich are overseeing for the studio.
