U.S. Distro for Blood: The Last Vampire

And a few new images surface

The good news first, Blood: The Last Vampire has been acquired by Samuel Goldwyn Films for a U.S. release. The so-so news: Because it’s Samuel Goldwyn, it is possible the film will only receive a limited release. That’s not confirmed though, just some speculation based on the company’s history of films, most of which have gone out in major cities only.

The MPAA has also weighed in with a rating. Blood is arriving with an “R: for strong bloody stylized violence.” When official release plans firm up, we’ll let you know.

Chris Nahon’s live-action adaptation opens in Japan on May 28th and in the UK on June 12th. If you haven’t seen the UK trailer yet, click here.
