Cloverfield vet joins the production
While the verdict is still out on who is donning the infamous sweater, hat and glove of Freddy Krueger in the upcoming A Nightmare on Elm Street, ShockTillYouDrop.com has learned who is designing his ghastly, burned visage.
Say hello to Andrew Clement (pictured). He’s been awarded makeup FX duties on the Samuel Bayer-directed redo which is being produced by Platinum Dunes. Clement served on the animatronics team behind Cloverfield and was the makeup artist on J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek and Spider-Man 3. Later this year we’ll see what creations he whipped up for the organ harvesting thriller Repossession Mambo, starring Jude Law.
