Two Italian Horror Films Invade Berlin

Coming from Minerva Pictures

The Berlin European Film Market got underway yesterday and Minerva Pictures has alerted ShockTillYouDrop.com to a pair of Italian horror films it’s previewing there.

One is called Demons Twilight (Lontano Dalla Luce) by director Federico Lagna. Now in post-production the film tells of a group of university students decides to shoot a documentary about the psychological causes that bring about an apparent demonic possession. Since they’re not able to find a real case to show, the crew finds a young girl with the perfect profile to play the role, but they all get trapped in a scary game with an unforeseen event. Gabriele Dil Dell’Aiera, Elisa Lombardo and Linda Messerkilnger star.

Next, is Human Test (Cavie) from the Manetti Bros. and the producers of The Last House in the Woods. Synopsis: Six people with nothing in common, wake up handcuffed in the back of a truck. Dumped in the middle of a wood, without clues or any food, they’ll have only a box filled with weapons and a book: “How to win in war” by Brian Hill. There’s no way out. They’re not alone. Someone is chasing them and the woods are going to ooze with their blood. Are they going to be prays or hunters? Men or human experiments? This one is also in post-production.

Both titles are seeking distributors and we’ll keep you posted if these make their way to the States.
