The long-delayed Paramount film
Sitting on the shelf somewhere in the vaults of Paramount is Carriers, a film produced in the wake of 28 Days Later that follows four pretty faces heading to the Gulf of Mexico to avoid a viral pandemic. Along this journey, their car breaks down and the real fun begins as they meet various, often dangerous, characters. Coyote Ugly‘s Piper Perabo stars as does Chris Pine, the cat who’s playing Kirk in this year’s Star Trek.
The question is: When is this coming out? Not a clue. Paramount’s been sitting on Carriers for so long it seems to have become forgotten, which is unfortunate for filmmakers Ãlex Pastor and David Pastor.
