Bodies Drop at Grace’s Sundance Premiere

A brief report from the screening

Around 1:30am in the morning, I received this e-mail from Adam Green: “Two faints. One outside and one in the lobby. Egyptian [theater] owner confirmed that in 10 years it’s the first time it’s happened. Amazing screening”

That’s the Hatchet director reporting in to me from Park City, Utah and last night’s Sundance premiere of Grace, a film he produced for writer-director Paul Solet. Controversy can sometimes be no stranger to the fest which plays a wide array of films from all over the world. But as the theater owner told Green, it’s rare when people faint because of a story’s subject matter.

A morose slow burn of a tale, Grace is about a woman (actress Jordan Ladd) and her newborn infant’s unquenchable thirst for human blood. We brought you a clip from the flick here, check it out!
