The 4th of July is an opportune time to do some grilling. As actress Jena Malone says in the clip below, “We’ve got some meat for the BBQ!” Dreamworks Home Entertainment granted us a peek at the special features arriving with The Ruins, arriving on DVD July 8th. The snippet focuses on the juicier elements of the Carter Smith-directed film – the gore! Listen to Jason Bair (prosthetic supervisor) and actors Shawn Ashmore and Malone discuss the gruesome FX and how it heightened the realism of the shooting experience.
