The follow-up to Cannibal Holocaust
Ruggero Deodato offered up a smidgen of an update on Cannibals, his companion piece to the notorious can of celluloid known as Cannibal Holocaust, at Fangoria’s Weekend of Horrors in New Jersey. According to the director, a script is complete and production is expected to start sometime in September. Not until Deodato and the film’s producer settle on a creative roadblock. It seems latter is not pleased with one aspect of the script and Deodato doesn’t want to budge. The director hopes he’ll come out on top.
