See No Evil Writer Takes Trip to Graveland

Necro project in the works

Dan Madigan has been diligently cranking away on some new fright fare since See No Evil – which he penned – clobbered audiences in 2006.

The writer tells Fangoria he’s got a pair of projects on the burner. One is entitled Graveland, the other, Necro Sapiens. The former is “a wild cross between Ghostbusters, Poltergeist and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and is very, very dark, funny and scary. Everyone involved is very excited about bringing this comically macabre story to life,” he says. Madigan is teaming with director The Lost Tribe helmer Roel Reiné.

As for Necro Sapiens, Madigan is producing with Matthew Currie Holmes (Wrong Turn 2). The story is decribed as an action-horror flick in the vein of Dawn of the Dead and Dog Soldiers.
