Can Filmax catch lightning in a bottle twice?
Filmax wasted no time ordering up a sequel to Jaume Balagueró and Paco Plaza’s Rec, the Spanish shocker that garnered plenty of raves around these parts (read our review). Early teaser art for the upcoming Rec 2 has been posted over at Aullidos, and if you’ve been following the original film’s history, you’ll note it’s very similar to its teaser poster. In the first Rec, a young TV reporter and her cameraman cover the night shift at the local fire station. Receiving a call from an old lady trapped in her house, they reach her building to hear horrifying screams – which begin a long nightmare and a uniquely dramatic TV report.
