New horror film currently in post-production
ShockTillYouDrop.com took an all-too-brief glimpse at a new horror film from Paramount Vantage we should bring to your attention. Directed by Spanish visionaries, and brothers, Alex and David Pastor, Carriers‘ plot synopsis reads: Four friends fleeing a viral pandemic soon learn they are more dangerous than any virus.
Those on the run, and apparently self-destructing, are Piper Perabo (Coyote Ugly), Lou Taylor Pucci (Fanboys), Chris Pine (Kirk in the new Star Trek film) and Emily VanCamp (The Ring Two). What we witnessed looked incredibly slick and sported a 28 Days/Weeks Later vibe – some heavy gunplay and rapid shots of “infected” individuals.
The Pastors hail from Barcelona, Spain. Alex garnered recognition with his short films “Larutanatural” and “Peacemaker.” No word yet on when Carriers will be released, but it is currently listed on Vantage’s AFM sales sheet as “in post-production.”
