Connections by The New York Times is a daily word puzzle that fans can enjoy online for free. The puzzle presents a set of 16 words that players need to sort into groups of four. The words may appear random, but are actually connected by four hidden themes. To solve it, fans must identify these themes and select which words belong together in a group. However, players will only get four guesses to make the correct choices. Moreover, the game also provides a “one away…” pop-up as a hint whenever a player gets close to completing a particular group.
