Carly’s Close Call
When Jack and Britt show up unexpectedly, Carly hides in the bathroom while listening to their conversation outside. Britt tells Jack that Sidwell is forcing her to work on Spoon Island, which could make passing data to him nearly impossible. Jack reminds Britt that her freedom is at stake, so she needs to find a way.
After Britt leaves, Jack hears water running in the bathroom and draws his weapon. When he finds that it was Carly, he vents at her for nearly shooting her and demands answers. Carly plays it off, saying that she just wanted to surprise him.
Anna Gets Overpowered
Anna tricks Pascal, takes his gun, and tries to make her way out of the room. But a mysterious person attacks her from behind, knocking her unconscious. Soon, Sidwell shows up, and the man tells him that Anna has become a liability. The man asks to focus on completing Faison’s work, but Sidwell blames Britt for the delay in progress. Later, Anna slowly regains her consciousness, and she finds herself bleeding from her nose.
Ava Catches Valentin
Ava stumbles upon Valentin, who’s searching for the hidden tunnel. She reveals she already got rid of it, taking him by surprise. When she asks him if he’s there to meet Sidwell, he tries to lie his way out of it. Before Ava can get help, Valentin makes his way out of there.
Later, she tells Sidwell about her encounter with Valentin. Sidwell denies harboring him and promises a thorough search of the island, asking Ava to keep the matter quiet.
Jason Asks Britt Out
Jason arrives at the hospital, looking for Britt. However, he finds Liz, who tells him that she’ll be back later. The two briefly talk about the trial. On his way out, Jason runs into Brad, who warns him about getting close to Britt. When Britt arrives, Jason takes the opportunity to ask her out. Although she was initially hesitant, she agrees.
Sonny Confronts Alexis
Sonny shows up at Alexis’ office to talk about the trial. She explains that her priority is Scout more than anyone else. To her surprise, Sonny understands her situation. Though Alexis worries about the possibility that Willow could be guilty, Sonny says that sometimes even good people make mistakes.
A Shocking Revelation
Near the end of the episode, Jack gets an unexpected visitor. It turns out to be the same man who was with Sidwell earlier. Jack invites him inside, addressing him as Director Cullum. Once inside, he informs Jack, saying, “We have a situation. We lost Anna Devane.”
