His & Hers painted a fascinating premise of a serial killing motivated by revenge and a dark past that continues to cast a shadow over the characters in the present day. As journalist Anna Andrews and her ex-husband, detective Jack Harper, unravel a complex murder plot, it turns out that the real crime has a lot to do with Anna’s past.

Who sexually assaulted Anna in His & Hers’ ending?
His & Hers began as a murder mystery centering on two broken people dealing with a traumatic past. However, it soon became a serial killer story with both Jack and Anna becoming suspects in the case, as well.
After the case is seemingly solved and Lexy (originally Catherine) is taken down, the big mystery is finally revealed, and it has to do with Anna’s past.
Throughout the show, there were allusions to something terrible happening at Anna’s 16th birthday. Moreover, it is revealed at the end of the show that Anna was sexually assaulted on her 16th birthday. This is something her mother, Alice, found out through the frequent videotapes that Anna used to record.
Anna had formed a close group with Rachel, Helen, and Zoe. On her 16th birthday, she was lured by the three of them into the woods, alongside group outsider Catherine. There, three guys assaulted Anna. Rachel, Helen, and Zoe stood and watched as Anna was sexually assaulted in the woods. Catherine, who was also assaulted, narrowly escaped. In this twisted ploy, allegedly, the attackers were older men whom Rachel had invited.
This ultimately became the bedrock of the story. Alice found out about this and eventually decided to take revenge on the women.
It seems that Anna was the only one who found out that it was actually Alice who committed the crime and not Lexy/Catherine by the end of the show.
All the episodes of His & Hers are now streaming on Netflix.
