Pluribus’ latest episode shed light on where the Alien RNA came from. Additionally, the episode also revealed how The Others communicate and their intentions with everything that they’ve learnt on Earth.

Pluribus Episode 8’s Alien RNA origins explained
Pluribus’s Episode 8, titled “Charm Offensive,” focused on Carol’s developing relationship with Zosia. After Carol writes a message, “Come Back,” Zosia returns, seemingly to have forgiven her for the aggressive behavior.
Throughout the episode, they spend a lot of time with each other. With every new place they visit, Carol asks important questions. First, she asks how The Others communicate, to which Zosia replies that it has something to do with electromagnetic waves in the human bodies. She says that it happens “unconsciously,” similar to breathing, admitting that they’re unsure how it exactly works.
Next, while they are getting a massage, Carol asks her how giving and getting one at the same time feels for them. Zosia reveals that while they are “aware” of everything that happens around the world, they don’t feel it because it would be too “unbearable.”
Later that night, Zosia sets up a telescope and shows Carol a star named Kepler-22, saying that that’s where “it”—the Aliena RNA—came from. She also talks about a planet that is not seen in the telescope, Kepler-22b. It’s a name that The Others call it by, since they don’t know the actual name of the planet. She describes it, saying that it has a radius of roughly twice that of Earth, and believes that the planet may be “one enormous ocean.”
When asked, Zosia admits that she doesn’t know what people are like on Kepler-22b. However, she says that they are grateful and aim to “pay it forward.”
How will they achieve that? By sharing the “gift” and everything they learnt on Earth with other beings in space using a giant antenna. With this context, it is reasonable to believe that a different species of alien created the Alien RNA and sent it to Earth. If it turns out to be true, the motive behind it is still far from revelation. With only one episode left in this season, how much more information would the show reveal?
