General Hospital Fans React to Kristina Wagner’s Tribute to Late Son

General Hospital’s Kristina Wagner remembered her late son, Harrison, in a heartfelt post on social media. Following her post, several fans and co-stars have joined in honoring his memory.

General Hospital fans band together to celebrate Kristina Wagner’s late son’s birthday

Kristina Wagner, who plays Felicia Scorpio on General Hospital, took to her Instagram to remember her late son, Harrison Wagner, on what would’ve been his 31st birthday.

The soap opera actress wrote, “Opening birthday presents was a thing! It was always entertaining to watch Harrison and hear what he would say next. Today, December 1, marks his 31st birthday. Posting this is a type of ritual for me. I think rituals are essential for healing. Grief is a solitary issue that I can’t face alone.”

She continued, “I know I have made several posts about my grief journey with Harrison for three years but somehow it keeps him present. It’s one of my many rituals. On a lighter note, Harrison would love the attention, which I loved about him. The forever social butterfly. Happy Birthday dear one. I know, with certainty, you are always with me.”

Wagner concluded the post with a quote from the English poet and author, Eden Phillpotts: “The universe is full of magical things patiently waiting for our wits to grow sharper.”

As she said in her caption, it his one of the many rituals she follows. In December 2022, she posted a video of Harrison dancing at a club. In October 2023, she remembered her son on her birthday with another post. On June 6 of this year, the date on which Harrison died, Kristina posted an emotional message talking about grief.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner ruled Harrison’s death an accident due to the combined effects of fentanyl and alprazolam. His body was reportedly found in a parking lot in Los Angeles.

Kristina’s fans have joined in remembering Harrison on both Instagram and General Hospital’s Facebook page. One fan replied to her Instagram post, “I love that you are keeping his memory alive! Sending love to you & your family. Happy Birthday in Heaven to your sweet angel.” Meanwhile, another said, “I don’t know how you get through some of the scenes at GH. My thoughts are with you in those moments.” A third fan wrote, “Happy heavenly birthday, Harrison.”

Furthermore, many of her General Hospital co-stars have also responded with warm messages. Kathleen Gati, who plays Liesl Obrecht, commented, “Sending love to you and birthday wishes to your beautiful son in heaven.”

Jon Lindstrom, who recently reprised his role as Kevin Collins, replied, “Mad love to you, Kristina.” And Braedyn Bruner, who plays Emma Scorpio-Drake, said, “Happy birthday, Harrison.”
