Eden McCoy recently completed 10 years on General Hospital as Josslyn Jacks, marking a momentous occasion in the young actress’s life. At only 22, it is a remarkable achievement that she has a decade of daily soap experience already under her belt. She took the opportunity to express how much this milestone means to her in a new post.
Eden McCoy says her ‘life has become unrecognizable’ after 10 years on General Hospital
While not always a regular character, Eden McCoy’s Josslyn Jacks has remained an important part of the story over the years on General Hospital. Interestingly, she started the role when she was only 12 years old after the show depicted an age jump for the character. She joined the show on October 14, 2015, and remains a part of it a decade after her debut.
She took to her Instagram profile to share her feelings about completing a decade on General Hospital. “Today marks 10 years since my first episode of General Hospital aired ?? 10 years ?? of life has happened in this studio,” she wrote in the caption. “What a special thing to be able to celebrate. And an impossible thing to put into words.”
She proceeded to talk about having most of her life documented on camera. “It’s embarrassing (from 13 years old to probably 17?) and remarkable that most of my life is documented on camera forever, starting at age 12 to now, 22. My kids will be able to watch me grow up, and when I’m 80 and want to see what I looked like at 15, I can find it,” she wrote.
The actress further added, “My life has become unrecognizable from the life I had my first day at this job, yet the one thing that is the same is my ability to come to this set and work with people who have become family.” She concluded the long message by thanking the fans, the cast, and the crew.
Eden McCoy is still young, and she has a long career ahead of her. But she already has this major achievement to her name.
