Here is everything you need to know about the latest decision by the network.
List of all shows canceled by Fox
Fox has canceled Breakfast Ball, The Facility, and Joy Taylor’s Speak.
According to The Athletic, the three shows mentioned above have been axed by the network. However, the reason behind the channel’s decision has yet to be revealed. Joy Taylor’s Speak was one of the most popular shows on the list. The talk show featured the host engaging in sports-related conversations alongside Paul Pierce and Keyshawn Johnson.
Additionally, the network fired Taylor after she became involved in a lawsuit filed by Noushin Faraji. Faraji is the former hairstylist at Fox Sports. She accused the network’s vice president, Charlie Dixon, and host Skip Bayless of sexual misconduct. Faraji also alleged in the case that Taylor had sexual relations with Dixon and Emmanuel Acho to secure work on the shows.
She further claimed that the Speak host told her she would accuse Dixon of forcing “himself on her” when he was “no longer useful to her.” Faraji also accused Taylor of bullying her after their fallout and said that Taylor advised her to “get over it” after she disclosed Dixon’s behavior.
Taylor addressed the controversy on The Breakfast Club, stating, “I have felt a lot of different emotions. I think it’s a grief process when anything like that happens.” She added, “I’ll say, I’ve been through a lot of traumatic things in my life. A lot. And I think any time you go through a trauma or a grieving period of something, you can’t decide who you are when it’s happening. And that’s been the biggest thing for me.”
While the host mentioned she was negotiating a contract renewal, the network has now fired her. Following the cancellations, the network is expected to replace Speak, Breakfast Ball, and The Facility with new shows.
