Fans of the pop mega star found the said album on music sharing platforms such as Tidal Music and Spotify. However, it has increasingly become apparent that the release was likely fake, leading to a fan discussion about the mishap on social media.

The allegedly fake album, Silent Algorithms, has what appears to be an AI-generated cover art and was shared through an account different from Swift’s, even though the album’s credits were given to Swift. The album has 10 tracks, and it’s quite possible that the entirety of it was AI-generated. As Swifties began to realize that this new purported release was probably a hoax, they took to social media to express their shock.
One commenter, @euphorubio, shared on X (previously, Twitter), “I jumped out of bed for a fake Taylor Swift album LMAOOOOO.”
Meanwhile, @NyraKraal shared, “A rumored album titled Silent Algorithms from Taylor Swift has emerged on streaming platforms, but it’s fake. Tracks listed are likely AI-generated. Swift hasn’t commented, as fans speculate over this non-existent release amid her ongoing news buzz.”
Some fans speculated that the release could have a social media glitch, though not much evidence has been found to suggest that.
Swift is one of the biggest pop stars of all time and has millions of fans all over the world. Accordingly, it’s not unusual that fake content attributed to her would become available online. Swift has won numerous accolades, including 14 Grammys. If she had indeed released a new album, it would have undoubtedly had a bigger impact than the response to Silent Algorithms.
