Hulu‘s new TV and movie releases for April 15-21 2024 include The Stranger, A Kind of Murder, and true crime drama series Under the Bridge.
Starting on April 15, Hulu subscribers can tune in to the platform to check out The Stranger. Originally a crime thriller series that premiered on Quibi in 2020, it has since been repurposed as a feature film by show creator Veena Sud for Hulu. The story follows rideshare driver Clare (Maika Monroe) who picks up a man named Carl (Dane DeHaan) from a house in the Hollywood Hills. However, things take a turn for the worse for Clare, when she finds herself in a troubling 12-hour situation in the Hollywood underbelly and discovers that there is more to Carl than meets the eye.
On the same day, viewers can also stream the 2016 murder mystery and psychological thriller A Kind of Murder on Hulu. This film was directed by Andy Goddard and based on the 1954 novel The Blunderer by Patricia Highsmith.
Then on April 17, the true crime drama miniseries Under the Bridge hits Hulu. It is based on the namesake book by Rebecca Godfrey and follows the real-life murder of 14-year-old Canadian girl Reena Virk and the events that followed.
Also releasing on Hulu during the week are the National Geographic series Drain the Oceans Season 6 and Dr. Oakley, Yukon Vet Season 12, both of which will also be hitting Disney Plus. The former is a documentary series revolving around old and new maritime mysteries while the latter offers a deep look into the life and work of Dr. Michelle Oakley, a veterinarian who treats animals in and around her home base of Haines Junction, Yukon.
Other releases for the week include See You in Another Life Season 1, All You Can Eat Season 1, Secrets of Miss America, 60 Days In Season 8, Amish Stud: The Eli Weaver Story, Tattoo Fixers Seasons 1-4, High Hopes Season 1, and The Marijuana Revolution Season 1.
