Oblivion Battery or Boukyaku Battery is a sports manga series by Eko Mikawa. Shueisha began serializing the baseball manga on its official online manga platform, Shonen Jump Plus, in April 2018. Currently, there are 17 volumes available in Japanese.
MAPPA produced an original net anime (ONA) of the series during the Jump Special Anime Festa 2020 online event. In August 2023, there was an announcement of the anime adaptation, which MAPPA is producing. Makoto Nakazono (Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, Little Witch Academia) is directing the show. Meanwhile, Michiko Yokote (Genshiken and Call of the Night) is in charge of the series composition.
Where to read Oblivion Battery manga?
As of April 2024, Oblivion Battery does not have an official English publisher yet. There is no available platform to read this manga in English.
Those who want to read the manga will have to wait for a publishing company to pick up the series. Since Shueisha’s Shonen Jump Plus serializes Oblivion Battery, it’s possible that they may add the manga on Manga Plus, their international manga platform.
